| Dear Sylvia,
I have attended your baking class twice and I enjoyed every bit of it + of course I learned a lot. I have come across a recipe that calls for a "self-rising flour", what can I use as a substitute. Thank you and Happy New Year.
Regards,

| Dear Tita Sylvia, Chef Morella and Chef Ernest,
Just dropping a note to say HELLO from Vietnam! My family and I just moved to Vietnam last January 6 from Indonesia. After leaving Manila last December 10th, 2005, my family had to pack our things immediately as my husband was assigned in their Vietnam office. I would just like you to know how I enjoyed the 31 courses I took with all of you in just 2 months! Thank you for all the cooking and baking tips and most of all, the delicious recipes you shared with me and your other students. You have me more confident in my cooking and baking. You have just made the food that looks so hard to prepare and cook, so easy to cook after all. Masarap na, madaling lutuin pa. Because of the tips I got from you and great recipes, I would say I am a better cook now. The nicest thing of being able to attend your class is that I get good praises from my own family (especially my kids) for the good food I now serve to them. I will surely miss attending your classes, but rest assured that I will attend your other classes whenever I am in Manila (hopefully very soon!). More power to all of you and God bless. |

| Hello Ms. Sylvia
Good day! May I please request your good office to send me a list of cooking courses that you are offering right now particularly for this month and for the month of February (if ever) with the equivalent courses fee. As you know I have been your student way back 13 years ago. I've enrolled in Doughnut making. Unfortunately I've lost the manual you've provided me. Is it possible if i will request for a new manual for the doughnut making? Can you provide me? Please advise me.
Thank you very much and I will really appreciate your response.
MORE POWER AND GOD BLESS !!
Truly yours,

| Hi Sylvia! I'm glad that there is a way of getting in touch with you. I had my first baking lesson with you when I was in Gr. 6 way back in 1980 when your studio was still in Forbes. I took up again classes with you back in '97 (I think) in preparation for my catering business. Even my husband enrolled in your Japanese cooking class. Unfortunately, he passed away in 1999. I continued to cater until 2001 before deciding to go back to teaching. Currently, I'm connected with PAREF Ridgefield School in Alabang as a pre-school teacher. Am still baking and have my three kids to assist me. This Sunday, the 15th, is the birthday of my dad and we're having a party in my sister's house in Tagaytay. We plan to have a Mongolian Barbecue party. Fortunately or unfortunately, the recipe got misplaced due to constant use over the years. However, we have stock knowledge of what goes in it - vegetables, meat, etc. It's the sauces that we totally forgot. Would it be possible if you could share with us the recipe? Thanks and more power. |

| Hello, I was student in your culinary studio some 20 years ago and until now the recipes I learned then still are best sellers during parties. People like to attend parties I throw knowing that they will be served good food. Thanks a lot for sharing with people like me who really do not know how to cook your recipes. Should you have any lessons on how to make different cheese spreads, please send me notice through me email. Thanks again and more power to you. |

| Hi,
I went to a friends' party the other day and I tasted the most wonderful baked macaroni I've tasted (it has white cream sauce on top). I asked my friend for the recipe but she wouldn't share it and told me it was Sylvia Reynoso Gala's. Would you be kind enough to share it with me? I plan to cook it in Christmas Day! |

| Im so glad you have a website. Im big fan of Miss Sylvia Reynoso-Gala. Sa simula palang sinusubaybayan ko na ang mga cooking shows nyo sa iba't-ibang channels kaya lang sa ngayon wala na akong time and fortunately nadiscover ko ang website nyo sa panorama magazine kaya dali-dali akong nagvisit sa webcite nyo to learn more lalo sa baking hanggang desserts and other great recipes na simple lang ang mga ingredients pero without sacrificing the taste & quality. More power sa inyong cooking school i look forward na makajoin din ako someday. Thank you so much! |
